Wellington Badminton Club plays on Thursdays at the Badminton Hall in Hataitai. We welcome visitors: just turn up with some non-marking sports shoes and a racket (we have a couple of loaners, and rackets can also be hired at the shop). We play from 7pm to 10pm from early March through mid October.

We welcome players of all abilities, both those who are interested in joining the club, and those who are just interested in coming down occasionally for a game.

When you arrive, go to the desk, where you will be registered on our system and given a grade. We make up games of doubles with a changeover approximately every 12 minutes. When you hear the bell ring, please check the board for your name. If you're on, check which court and who you're playing with, then go along and introduce yourself.

When you've had enough, simply tell the people on the desk that you've had enough (but maybe after one last game!).

We provide free tea, coffee, milo and biscuits in the kitchen at about 8.30pm, and some players migrate upstairs to the bar at about 9.30pm for a chat and a tipple.
